Although looking at it now seems quite ambitious
seeing as only 6 beds are dug - only another 20 to go!

Chillies harvested

Broccoli, Cabbage, Sprouts,Cauliflower & Celery are growing

The chilli plants have produced a lot of fruit with hundreds

more pods still ripening.

August

Not much activity in August as it was too hot..
The chillies have grown well and a new bed has
been dug for winter veg.

A busy weekend

I resurrected an old Greenhouse donated by friends, it took
most of the weekend to level the ground, straighten the
frame and clean up the old glass.























Being the first greenhouse i've built, i'm not sure if
it's the picture or greenhouse that isn't level

Chillies and Leeks planted

40 or so chillis have been transplanted, along
with some leeks that a neighbour gave me.
A second bed has been dug and I'm giving
Aduki beans a go to see what happens.

The Fence is up

12th July and I finally got the fence up to keep the rabbits out
hopefully over the next couple of weeks I can dig 5 more beds
in the fenced area,then the planting can begin.

The Allotment

This is the allotment plot in Cookham that will be full of chilli plants,
once 200ft of weeds have been cleared and 4000sq feet of soil has
been dug. There might even be room for some other fruit and veg.
